About me

My name is yanni , im 15 years old. My birthdays on February 27th, yea that's right two more months until my big day. I would describe myself ass corny, funny, caring, shy, outgoing  and sencible. Two animals that describe are an owl and a peacock. An owl symbolizes wisdome and and a peacokc symobolizes my shyness.  Five of my favorite things to do are, hear music, dance, take picture, read the bible and shop ! I love to hear reggea and rap. Im the type of girl who is shy at first but once you get to know me I loosen up. Im good at giving advice and if you ever have any problems best belive I'll be their for you. I enjoy turning a sad face into a happy one, it just makes me feel good.

New Years & Christmas.

My Families New Year tradition is to all get together. In the morning all the women in my family get together and start preparaing the meal for later on the night. Not to brag but all the women in my family are Teriffic Cooks ! They usually make " Ceviche." "Ceviche" is a a shrimp home made coacktail. It has raw shrimp with alot of lemon juice , sliced tomatoes & onions. It may not sound so good , but it tatstes " Banging"While all the woemn are in the kitchen the men start cleaning up nd start decorating and preparing the games that are going to be played. We usually have a game of sherades, karaoke or a game called the "mouse & the cat ". This game involves 2 scarfs being passed around .You have to make one knot with it and clap once. With the other scarf you make two knots and clapp twice. Then you have to untie the scarf and then pass it to the next person. If you your slow and you get caught up with both scarfs you loose and you have to give in something of yours. At the end of the game if you lost and you want your stuff back you are going to get dared to do anything. Ten minutes before 12 o'clock , we all start praying and asking for God to forgive us for anything bad we did in that year and to bring good stuffs to us in the  new year. When its finally 12 we all cheer hug eachother make alot of noise and celebrate. after we finishe celebrating we all start sharing our new years resolution. New years is a really fun holiday . I enjoy it very much because is the time of the year i get to see all my family members. They either fligh over to New York or drive there. Getting to see all them just makes that day extremely special.

On christamas all the little children of my family make a play about how Jesus was born. Then we all have a great dinner , which usually  involves Turkey with some homemade stuffed potates , salad, and some corn from my country. After the the mela is over we all play secret santa. Then we all start opening gifts and share  funny moments we've all experinced .
